Las Vegas, NV - Mike Mixer, managing partner of Colliers International – Las Vegas, announced today the company has hired Sharon Traver as a marketing manager.
In her hew role, Traver will oversee marketing activities for the Las Vegas office, raising Colliers' profile in Southern Nevada and the greater Southwest region, in turn enhancing the presence and exposure of clients' listed properties.
 Traver will be responsible for the creation of corporate marketing collateral, developing the company's website and coordinating special events. She will also oversee marketing outreach for Colliers' individual broker teams, creating property-specific marketing materials, drafting proposals, and managing team websites and promotional materials.
Traver most recently served as a client services specialist for CB Richard Ellis in Washington, D.C., where she coordinated and implemented marketing activities, as well as performing due diligence, for an investment sales team. She also previously served as a land development coordinator for River City Land Co./Prospect Homes in Richmond, Va., where she was responsible for coordinating all phases of subdivision development including rezoning, plan approval, obtaining permits, and setting up homeowners associations, among other duties.
Traver earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and she holds real estate licenses in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

Las Vegas, NV - In response to heightened interest from investors seeking to acquire retail properties in Southern Nevada, Mike Mixer, managing partner of Colliers International – Las Vegas, announced today the firm has added a new brokerage team that specializes in investment sales and retail leasing, The Berg & Tumbleson Investment Group.
"In recent months we have received an increasing number of investor inquiries to purchase properties of all types in Southern Nevada. And we predict it will continue to grow, especially within the retail segment," said Mixer. "With their combined talents and entrepreneurial drive, the Berg and Tumbleson team will be great at seizing this market."
Comprised of senior associates Jeff Berg, Mica Berg, Ron Berg and Eric Tumbleson, the group joined Colliers from NAI Global's Las Vegas office, where it represented Marnell Properties in leasing McCarran Marketplace, one of the largest retail projects in Las Vegas.
In the first quarter of 2010, The Berg & Tumbleson Investment Group completed the state's largest single-tenant investment deal, the sale of 1710 Whitney Mesa Drive, in Henderson, for approximately $6 million to Bailes Family Trust. The team has also previously represented landlords and national tenants such as Kimco Realty, TapouT Worldwide, Metro PCS, Eyeglass World and Marco's Pizza.

 On behalf of the Doherty Industrial Group, Lane will be responsible for creating property marketing materials, sustaining web-based data reports and supporting client communication. He will also create and implement the marketing campaigns for all team projects, and assist with property tours.
Before joining Colliers International, Lane was the office and medical researcher for CB Richard Ellis-Las Vegas. He has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and is also a licensed real estate agent in Nevada.
